Boreal Bay – Fishing Report 5/10

Ice looked to be gone on Crow Lake, last night.  If any existed, it will be gone today.

A lot of floating beaver-chewed wood scattered about on the lake.  Be extra careful in this early part of the season and after the first heavy rains to avoid the floating hazards.

I have not fished much, but caught one Lake Trout and lost a few other already. Finding fish along the slopes that go from 40′ to 80′. Most fish coming into the graph are coming in near the middle of the water column.  Trolling might be better than jigging for awhile, but that can change at any moment.
