2018 Fishing Regulations

We wanted to make sure all of our non-resident Lake Trout and Walleye fishing groups will be  aware of the new Ontario MNR 2018 Fishing Regulations.

The main item that will be changing, is a daily limit will now be applied to Lake Trout. No more than 1 Lake Trout can be kept per day. Possession limit is still 2, if you have a full license.

Walleye now will have daily limit regulations applied to all lakes. No more than 2 Walleye can be kept in a day. Only 1 Walleye in possession limit can be over 18.1″. This has been used on Lake of the Woods for the past few years.

Kakagi Lake (a.k.a. Crow Lake) will continue to have special Bass catch and release until July and Muskie 54″ rules.

This link should bring you to the Zone 5 Ontario MNR Fishing regulations.
